MISSION STATEMENT
Awakening Evangelical Ministries exists to make disciples by taking the whole Gospel to the whole world. We are committed to integrity, faithfulness, compassion and accountability until our Lord returns.
THE VISION
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! "But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth" (1 John 3: 17-18). We are living in a morally decaying world, one filled with poverty, despair, loneliness, disease, and economic uncertainty. Many are frustrated and angry, constantly searching for an end to their misery. Some feel the answer lies in suicide, others in alcohol. Yet, some feel the answer lies in various types of narcotics, or by placing their faith in man, and man made religions. When Christ issued the Great Commission to His disciples, telling them "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature," (Mark 16:15), His purpose was to spread the love of God to a lost world. The Bible instructs us to do as Jesus did, and bring hope to the hopeless, deliverance to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, and to minister to the poor, orphans, and the widows. But most importantly, to bring salvation to the lost. Awakening Evangelical Ministries aims to fulfill the Great Commission, and is already offering humanitarian aid and assistance to those in need in Guyana. Our main focus is to evangelize and take up the responsibility of being a source of support to those within the Ministry. Awakening Evangelical Ministries has been in existence for six months and has established many ministry connections. We presently have access to over 50 churches in Guyana, all of which we also have the opportunity to minister in. We now have the ability to place ministers and Mission teams anywhere in the country to minister 365 days a year. Presently we are shipping supplies to as many churches as we can, given our financial position. This would include supplying them with Bibles, study materials, training courses, and financial assistance. Awakening Evangelical Ministries is also reaching out to the needy within differing communities and supplying them with Bibles, Gospel literature, educational materials, food, and clothing. Awakening Evangelical Ministries would eventually like to provide adequate housing, medicine and medical supplies for the many needy. Unfortunately for millions around the world, it will be too late unless we can reach them before they slip off the edge into eternal darkness. Awakening Evangelical Ministries has taken up the challenge of reaching the lost at any cost. We have dedicated ourselves to the implementation of this goal, and are asking you to support this Ministry. By supporting this Ministry you will be standing in the gap for those who have never heard the Gospel. You will be helping to win thousands of souls for Jesus Christ as you allow Him to use your life to extend His kingdom, and fulfill your desire to be obedient to the Great Commission.
