Statement of Faith
Africa Rescue Mission holds to the fundamental doctrine of historic evangelical Christianity of one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God has given us His inspired and authoritative word so that we can preach and teach others in a clear and relevant way that will glorify Him. Therefore we do not just give a handout but we are determined to present the Gospel in a way that people can hear it, see it and touch it to know that Jesus is alive. "...And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved" Acts 2:47
Ministry and Programs
Africa Rescue Mission is a non-profit Christian Ministry dedicated to providing humantarian and sustainable assistance to the impoverished people in East and Central Africa, while introducing them into the central theme of a personal life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ - The Bread Of Life. We offer hope to the hopeless people who are struggling to survive against very hostile challenges of extreme poverty, homelessness, political instability and domestic violence - a situation that requires daily concern of all Christians in terms of prayer, resources and volunteer labor. Not because of fame or pride, but simply because there is something - Love for Christ. The GOOD HOPE CENTER is a home for the homeless, drug abusers, alcoholics and poor mothers with their children. We provide shelter, food, clothes, medical care and job training skills that will help them to be self-reliance. We encourage personal Bible study for individual spiritual growth in order to help them to grow and live in Christ as they breakaway from the circles of poverty and homelessness to gain self-esteem and responsibility. Our BIBLE STUDY PROGRAM is a community resource center designed to assist pastors and evangelists of small Christian groups. It will enable many refugees, who stay in Kenya as small communities of poverty-stricken believers, to go back home as missionaries among their own people.They are able to move freely in their native lands planting churches in remote villages where some people have never had a chance to hear even the basic truths about the Bible. "Go into the whole world and preach the Gospel to all creations" Mark 16:15 We would like to work with organizations which are commited to helping the poor and spread the Gospel to the unreached.
