SEASON OF HARVEST MINISTRY

SCENE ONE

Alade is with a medical doctor. Her sister is ill and need urgent attention.

DOCTOR: I have told you that she is in critical condition and that a sum of #500000 is needed to help her out.

ALADE: scare. Five hundred thousand naira! I’m a student. I don’t have any one to run to for such an amount of money. Even until now, I have not paid my fees at school. Doctor, please, assist me.

DOCTOR: there is nothing I can do than for you to go now and look for money. Anything can happen to her at any moment from now if you don’t provide the money on time.

ALADE: fearfully. God forbid. Okay, I will go and look for money. He rises to his feet quickly and leaves.

SCENE TWO

Alade on his way is thinking on what to do and where to get the money from. A young man approach Alade.

THE YOUNG MAN: Gives him a flier. Good day sir! I want to inform you about a seminar on entrepreneurship which will come up on 24 of this month. Everything you need to know about the program is in the flier. The venue and….

ALADE: cut in. He looks fed up. I’m not interested. I’m looking for money to treat my sister at hospital presently.

THE YOUNG MAN: okay. Can you give me your phone number so that when another seminar comes up again I can contact you?

ALADE: aggressively. Oh God. Young man, don’t you hear what I said! I said I have something urgent to attend to now! He walks out of his sight.

SCENE THREE

A nurse enters through one of the entrance as she’s rushing into a ward to attend to a patient. The doctor is also seen as he follows her in hurry. After a while the doctor is seen as he comes out again. Alade is also coming.

ALADE: Doctor, I tried all I could but I couldn’t get the money.

DOCTOR: looks sober. It is too late.

ALADE: anxious. What is it? DOCTOR: she is dead.

ALADE: painfully. Dead!!!

SCENE FOUR

Alade is with an herbalist.

AlADE: crying. I come for help.

HERBALIST: Don’t cry. As you have come here, your problem is solving.

ALADE: my parents are dead. Nine of my siblings are gone.

HERBALIST: All this you say is like a parable to me. What exactly do you want?

ALADE: I want the enemy behind the evils that fell upon my family dead because what happened to them must not happen to me also. HERBALIST: Makes consultation with god. After the consultation. Young man, the person behind your problem is someone known to you. Do you say you want your enemy dead?

ALADE: I don’t care who the person is. I want the enemy behind this dead.

HERBALIST: (Assuredly) okay. The enemy behind your problem will die.

SCENE FIVE

Alade sits on a chair. A text book is opened on a table. He is studying. Titilayo enters. She is with mobile hand set. TITILAYO: Have you heard?

ALADE: curious. Heard what?

TITILAYO: The woman selling onion is dead.

ALADE: surprise. Dead!!! Oh my God. What happened to her?

TITILAYO: She was very strong, active and healthy not until this morning when she couldn’t wake up. Her phone rings. She picks the call and rush out quickly. Hello… Hello……

ALADE :( thoughtfully) This woman is nice. She will bring food for me to eat. Sometimes, she will give me money. She was even the one who gave me money which I used for my tuition fee. Can this be? Can she be the source of the problem? Can she be the one the herbalist was referring to as someone close to me? It can’t be. I don’t think so.

SCENE SIX

Alade sits alone in a dream.

ALADE:(thoughtfully) Life is difficult. Why I’m I still finding things difficult as this? The same things happened to my parents and siblings before they all died. If truly this woman is the source of my problem things shouldn’t be difficult again because she is out of the way.

MAN: walks to him. You can’t be victorious over your problem in that way. Even If that is the case, then it is one thing for the enemy to die, and it is another thing for the evil deposited to be clear off. The enemy deposited untimely death and struggles into your family but instead of you to come unto God for HIM to set you free and call on Him for deliverance, you took it up yourself. You went to a wrong place and you got a wrong solution to your problem. Can you now see that the death of your enemy bring no solution to your problem? Haman died but for the unreversed evil done by the Haman to be reversed, esther called on the king for the evil done by the Haman to be reversed. Come to Jesus. Repent your evil deed and He shall set you free.

 

 

STEPS TOWARDS BEEN SAVED

1. BELIEVE.

Believe in the gospel of the lord Jesus christ and things concerning God's kingdom.

Believe in God's provision to save mankind from sins. Believe on what JESUS did on the cross to save mankind from sin.

The scripture says He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE.

Jesus christ have been highly exalted and his name is above every other name. There is no  name under heaven through which we can be save except in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

The scripture says"John  1:3 "All things were made by him"

Which means we all came into being through him.

Verses 10 and 11 says "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not."

Take note of " He was in the world" and "He came to his own". This means that every one must be saved. As far as salvation from.sin.and coming wrath is concern no one is excluded.

If you don't believe in the lord Jesus christ and accept his gospel no matter how you try to live right, your sins will not be forgiven. Forgiveness and Justification(been declare free from sin) can take place by believing in Him. He is the one that will forgive you your sins and declare that you are free from sin.

Acts  2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

 

So also if you don't believe in christ, whatever you ask outside his name, he won't do it.

"John  14:14 If ye shall ask any thing IN MY NAME, I will do it.

The worst thing is that if you don't believe in christ and God's provision to save mankind from sin, you won't partake in His kingdom.

Mark  16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT SHALL BE DAMNED.

 

Romans  10:17 So then FAITH cometh by HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD OF GOD

Acts  8:12 But when they BELIEVED Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ they were baptized both men and women.

John  3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 

John  1:12 But as many as RECEIVED HIM, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE ON HIS NAME

 

 

 

Acts  4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

2. CONFESS.

Romans  10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION.

 

Philippians  2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Romans  14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

 

Psalms  51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.  51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight

 

Proverbs  28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

 

 

James  5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

 

3. REPENT.

Luke  13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

 

Repentance grows out of genuine sorrow for the sin one has committed.

People repent when they determine to turn from the practice of sin to the practice of righteousness.

4. BE BAPTIZE

Acts  22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be BAPTISED and WASH AWAY THY SINS calling on the name of the Lord.

Psalms  51:2 WASH me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin

 

 

John  3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of WATER and of the SPIRIT he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

 

 

1 Peter  3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were SAVED  BY WATER.  3:21 The like figure whereunto even BAPTISM doth also now SAVE US(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

 

 

Mark  16:16 He that BELIEVETH and is BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

 

Romans  6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were BAPTIZED into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by BAPTISM into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

 

Galatians  3:27 For as many of you as have been BAPTISED into Christ have put on Christ.

 

 

1 Corinthians  12:13 For by one Spirit are we all BAPTIZED INTO ONE BODY, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
