We are a Christian organization focused on helping parents of children diagnosed with learning disabilities advocate for adequate special education services for their children in Durham And Wake Counties in North Carolina. Our support is provided to parents free of charge.
What we do:
RTPSPED has partnered with Duke University Law School, Children’s Legal Clinic to provide workshops every other month to parents who want to learn more about advocating and navigating the IEP process. Workshops schedule for 2019 is below and attendance is limited to 30 participants:

The Children's Law Clinic is a community law office that provides free legal advice, advocacy, and legal representation to low-income children. The clinic is staffed by Duke Law students who bring their compassion, commitment, and energy to the task of advocating for at-risk children. Since its establishment in 2002, the Children's Law Clinic has represented hundreds of children from a wide region around Durham.
