The Lord's Warriors--Who We Are and Our Mission

The Lord's Warriors Color Guard and Drum Line is a Church based drill team under the umbrella of the Mt Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. The Lord's Warriors membership consists of young people from age 9-19 (8including cadettes age 5-9) from the community of Waterloo, no matter what church they belong to. We encourage our young people who have no church home, to secure a church home as soon as possible. All of the Lord's Warriors field shows are Biblically based. We teach our young people that they can give God praise in their dance without compromising themselves to the ways of the world. For the last 7 years, the Warriors have traveled throughout the midwest winning many honors and awards, taking the message of Jesus Christ with us. Last year, we participated in the Michigan City Soul Steppers (Michigan City, IN) and the Lord blessed us to win first place amongst many other drill teams, most of which were secular. The Lord's Warriors Mission statement: To increase confidence, n expand horizons, deepen faith, raise the praise and glority God.
