Minister Barbara is married with three wonderful children and an awesome God son. Minister Alicea is a Certified Meeting Facilitator, (CMF), comedienne, Food & Beverage Coordinator and an actress. She has appeared on Apollo and in several short films and many stage plays such as, The Judgement, The Devil Son, Christ Made the Difference with A&B Productions in Hollywood, Ca, and she's currently with Deshields and Friends Productions of Vineland, NJ starring as Aunt Sadie in Sho Do Need Him Now, and There's Not a Friend. Minister Alicea has recently joined TaMar Productions of Philadelphia, Pa to appear in a stage play called, Don't Let The Devil Do It! Minister Alicea has starred in her own DVD entitled, The Church of Divine Unity, Where Praise is What We Do. She also co-starred with Dwight Bazemore and the Freedom Players in the film and stage play Born for the Family written, directed and produced by national Chicken Soup for the Soul author Nancy Gilliam.
Minister Alicea is the founder/CEO of J.E.W.E.L.S. (Jesus Edified Women Enjoying Liberty & Salvation). A holistic ministry breaking the cycle of dysfunction in women. Women are taught how to live holy, how to enjoy life and how to break free from the chains that binds. God has allowed Minister Alicea to travel the country using the gospel and comedy to heal the broken hearted. Sitting in on one of her sessions is akin to a relaxing, theraupic ession.
Minister Alicea does not accept engagements. She believes God assigns us to go where He wants us to go. She is a firm believer that your gift will make room for you. Minister Alicea was taught by Apostle Gilbert Coleman of Freedom Christian Bible fellowship Worldwide Ministries of Phila.m Pa., that God is not obligated to validate anything He did not assign you to do or go. When you accept assignments rather than engagements, God always shows up and the people of God get what they need.
Minister Alicea is currently serving under Bishop Anthony & Pastor Monica Gardner of Life Giving Words Ministries in Willingboro, NJ.
