LIGHT-BEARERS OUTREACH MINISTRY § OUR BIRTH Light-Bearers Outreach Ministry as a youth and charitable Christian organization was given birth to by the Holy Spirit through inspiration from the scriptures (the name was derived from the scriptures):-John1:7-14;John 1:1-5;Colossians1:12-15;2 Corinthians 4:6-7;Matthew 5:14-16;John 8:12;John 9:5;1 John 4:17;Isaiah 9:2.
OUR CALLING
My calling and vision as President and Founder (and those that God have given me) to work as an evangelical team in Light-Bearers Outreach Ministry is divine and divinely motivated by God Almighty and his son Jesus Christ to reach out to the lost souls .I have always had the desire (vision) to preach the gospel as young boy. When I was in Secondary school, I used to preach from class to class and to individual student or groups during break periods as a member of the Scripture Union (A Christian fellowship) then. The vision became clearer when God got hold of me and brought back as a lost sheep into the fold.I also served in The Nigeria Fellowship Of Evangelical Students(NIFEST) of the great University Of Benin Chapter ,where I did my two year Diploma In Computer Engineering .My love to reach out grown when I graduated having seen the need to reach out to the lost. The following scriptures inspires me and those that God has given me in our evangelical work as a team to go out for evangelism from day to day with the gospel of our lord and savior Jesus Christ with the hope of winning souls (Those that have been alienated from God) into the kingdom: -"At midday king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me."(Acts 26:13) -"But rise, and stand upon thy feet for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in which I will appear unto thee; delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles (the unreached), unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.". (Acts 26:16-18) -"Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou came forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nation…"(Jeremiah 1:4-8). -"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son, and Holy Spirit; Teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you: and lo! I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen". (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; John 17:18). -"As thou as sent me into the world, even so have I sent them into the world"(John 17:18). -"But when it please God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace to reveal his son (Jesus) in me, that I conferred not with flesh and blood"(Galatians 1:15-16). -"Also I heard the voice of the lord saying whom shall I send, and who we go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."(Isaiah 6: 8). -"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the lord."(Luke 4:18-19) -" Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things that are behind, and reaching forth to those things which are before, I press towards the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."(Philippians 3:13-14). -"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation…"(Romans 1:16).
OUR VISSION, MISSION AND BELIEVES
Light-Bearers Outreach Ministry is a non-profit and non-denominational evangelical youth Christian organization saddle with the vision and burden to evangelize in all educational institutions (be it secondary school or university), hospitals and prisons in Nigeria transfer the same vision and believes to the rest of the world, We also assist poverty-stricken suffering Christians as part of our outreach ministration (Matthew 5:35-36). We gather as Christians (from different denomination), simply to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ alone, to pray and evangelize. We are known as "brethren", a name which the Lord Himself uses for us (Luke 8:21,Hebrew 2:11-12). We believe the bible is inerrant, infallible Word of God, plenarily and verbally inspired in its original manuscripts (2Timothy 4:12-13) in which He (God) has revealed himself to His creature (Hebrew 4:12-13). We believe God is one God manifested in three person-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Man was created by the direct act of God and fell according to the Genesis account. We believe that Christ was virgin-born, lived a sinless life. We believe that Sin is universal, and the human rase is totally deprave (Romans 3:23). We believe that all need a savior (Romans 3:23), and that the Bible presents that Savior, the lord Jesus Christ, who made perfect atonement for our sins on Calvary's cross (Romans 3:23,Acts 3:38-39,1John 5:12-13) Further, we believe that all who accept the gospel are "born again"(1Peter1: 23); seal with the Holy Spirit (Ephissians1: 13), and members of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-13). We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is alive in Glory in the same body of flesh and bone in which He was crucified and buried. We believe in the Lord's coming for His bride, the church ,which may occur at any moment( 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18,Ephessians 5:25-27. In view of this blessed hope (Timothy 2:13), we further believe that the greatest need in the world today is a return to the word of God through which alone can come spiritual awakening (Hebrew 4:12). We preach Christ crucify for our sins, rise for our justification and coming again to rapture His church (1 Corinthians 15:3,Roman 4:25,1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17). We believe the Holy Spirit has a definite ministry for this age. In the light of our vision and believe, we have been working in concert with the efforts of other Christian organizations in the various campuses as co-laborers in the lord's vineyard -be you orthodox, Baptist, Catholic, Presbyterian or Pentecostal member. You are welcome to be a member of Light-Bearers Outreach Ministry irrespective of you denomination provided your church or ministry (organization) dogmas is inline with Hebrew 6:1. This we believed is in cognizance and consonance with the scriptures and prayer of our lord Jesus Christ while on Earth.(John 17:11; John 17:20-21; 2Corinthians 6:17; Ephesians 1:3-10;Ephesians 1:22). We strongly believe that we are one in Christ as stated in Ephesians 4:3-6; Ephesians 2:14-16; Ephesians 1:3-10; 2Corinthians 6:17, and cannot do anything against the truth in this respect as stated: -"For we cannot do anything against the truth but for the truth."(2Corinthians 13:8) -"Do you look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself thing again, that as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ."(2 Corinthians10-7). In view of this, we oppose any Christian Denomination or Organization that is not working in unism( or harmony) with others (Ephesians 4: 13-15) because we do not judge as (this attitude) portrait by some .We believe those that does so are still working in the ordinances of the world (1 Corinthians 3:10,Romans 2:16,1 Corinthinas 4:5).The scripture is clear on this matter. For the unification of the body of Christ will help to facilitate the expansion of God's kingdom here on earth as stated in: -"And not holding the head, from which all the body by joints and bands nourishment minister and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God, wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why as though living in the world are ye subject to the ordinances…" (Colossians 2:19-23) God bless you as you continue to work in unity (Ephesians 3:14-2). For this in God's plan for us in this dispensation of time (pre-millennia), which will usher in the coming of Christ on his return to reign on earth .So that sayings that the kingdoms of this world has become the kingdoms of our God and of his Christ might be fulfilled(Revelations 10:15). -"For all the promises of God are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us"(2 Corinthians 1:20) THIS NOT TO SAY WE ARE IGNORANT OF THE FACT THAT THERE ARE FALSE TEACHERS AND MINISTRY WHO TURNS THE SCRIPTURE TO SUIT THEMSELVE DENYING PEOPLE THE TRUE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL OF LORD JESUS CHRIST. WE BELIEVE GOD WILL BRING THEM TO JUDGEMENT.

Consider the worth of a soul: Who can counts its value? Who can appraise its worth? An immortal soul is beyond all prices. In money, one soul is of more value than the wealth of the world. In suffering, it is better that all the people of the world should suffer all their lives on earth, if by suffering, one soul could be saved. In journeyings, no foreign land is too distant, or any portion of it too inaccessible, for all people of the world to take a journey there, if by so doing one soul could be saved. There is no trouble too great, no humiliation too deep, no suffering too severe, no love too strong, no labor too hard, no expense too large, but that it is worth it, if it is spent in the effort to win a soul.of all creation, in this world and in the world to come, the greatest, the most wonderful, the most priceless, the most enduring is the soul. God loves the soul more than all creation. This explains why the scripture says: "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."(Luke15: 10). Every soul has departed from God and gone astray; and God has brought every soul back again with a price. That price was the blood of his only begotten son, who took upon himself the sin of the soul, suffering the death penalty that the soul might be saved, cleansed and made holy again. God loves every soul with and everlasting love greater and deeper than any human love can possibly be. Satan hates the soul. In Satan's enmity towards God he is using all is energy, using every snare, his utmost cunning, employing every means with the one single purpose of ruining the soul of man, because Satan knows the soul is God's most cherished creature, the apple of his eyes. This is why we at Light-Bearers Outreach Ministry is out everyday as co-workers with God with the gospel to save souls for God's kingdom. Consider the worth of one soul and see the need why you need to assist (support) us in our day-to-day outreach. God has said: "He that winneth souls is wise."(Proverbs 11:30) and again in another scripture said: "Glorious is the feet of those that polish or publish good news". Regrettably most Christians who God has bless (entrusted) with money are yet to know the joy of using it to speed the gospel to the heathen, by aiding struggling preachers, Christian workers and evangelical ministries (like ours), relieve poverty-stricken suffering saints and in many way support God's work. The liberal soul enjoys a thrill that the stingy, close-fisted, religious tightwad, knows nothing about. If all God's children would place their treasure at the wounded feet of their living Lord, every phase of gospel work would prosper without the begging, pleading and driving for funds that characterize Christian work our day. I am not saying this to make you feel bad but to encourage you to see why you should partner with ministry because we have have been greatly been confronted with great needs, raging from logistics (no means of transportation to expand our outreach ministration to areas we are yet to cover) problems to inadequate materials (such as tracts, literatures and bibles) for the distribution to the souls we have won. As new babies in the Lord, there is every need to feed them with the word by given them Christian literature books and bibles as a way of encourage them in the faith as they attend fellowship. Are you there, due to your tight or busy schedules as a worker (be you a doctor, a nurse, lawyer, engineer, accountant, e.t.c) and you will so much love to be a part of what we are doing and you are still wondering how You needn't have to worry anymore. For the administration of this service not only supplieth the wants of the saints, but also is abundant also by many thanks giving unto God. Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection into the gospel of Christ, for you liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men…"(2 Corinthians 9:10-15).
