Apostle Nathan Mason, DD, F.B.H Founder

**WELCOME TO THET FIRE BAPTIZED HOLINESS CHURCH OF GOD OF THE AMERICAS** In bondage, chained, shackled; sun up to sun down, working, as the children of Israel in Egypt land. Blood, sweat, and tears, all shed in humbled submission for our Lord and Savior, but building a kingdom suited to fit what Pharaoh desired. It was time to begin to head in a new direction and follow the move of God. It was time for a resurrection. It was time to "Go On." Time for Moses to go on down to Egypt land and tell old Pharaoh to let my people go. Apostle Nathan Mason knew then that it was time to prepare. He, Apostle Eddie Mason and Apostle Charles Williams began to do just that, as they met in New Jersey to discuss future plans for this called out body of Baptized believers, in Christ. With the pains of labor still causing discomfort, yet the miracle of birth cradled in their loving arms, it was now time to name this adored creation. As any proud parents weighs this name against that, to personify, and call into existence the personality of a child, likewise these parents did so. "Let's call her the Temple of Praise" exclaimed Apostle Williams, understanding that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost, and we are to present a living sacrifice, a sacrifice of praise, holy, acceptable, unto God which is our reasonable service. Apostle Nathan Mason consented, however, his inspired name was the church of the Anointed Praise, for he knew that the anointing, the Holy Spirit, that destroy every yoke, and when you couple yoke destroying anointing with hailing God, the strong one, the creator, Jehovah, you receive cataclysmic supernatural results. Then Apostle Nathan Mason, after carefully listening to the cries of his new born baby, asked "What about the Fire Baptized?" For the exclusive motive of the 150 Psalms is Praise! Its chief declaration are the Fire Baptized, Cymbals, String Instruments, and organs, and if that doesn't tickle enough of your fancy, in its summarization it commands, "Let everything that have breath, Praise Ye the Lord!" In other words, sound your praise, for if you don't praise him the rocks will cry out, but "he shall deliver the needy when he crieth, the poor also and him that hath no helper, for he will help thee, because he is a present help in the time of trouble. Following prayerful consideration, "Fire Baptized," offered by Apostle Nathan Mason was selected; God will make of thee "FBH," a great nation and will bless thee and make thy name great. As the Fire Baptized begun to personify, Godfathers such as Pastors Ron Hightoer, John Francis, Debarge, Kevin Smith, and others began to assist in shaping and developing the very foundation of the Fire Baptized Apostolic Fellowship Ministries, Inc. Pertinent information such as 501 c (3), by-laws and guidelines were necessary so as the foundation would be strong as a rock, for "upon this rock, I build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." That rock is Jesus. On the 24th day of October, in the year of our Lord 2003, the Fire Baptized was officially established, and in November of that same year, convened as a formal body having many members, but the one head, just as Christ is the head of the church. Consecrated into Apostle by Apostle Earnest Lenerd, Presiding Prelate of the Apostolic Churches), our founder, Apostle Nathan Mason, accepted the call of presiding prelate. Apostle Mason has been one of the most celebrated Apostolic evangelists in this century. His ministry has been a definite reality in our times: a Prince of Preachers, Counselor Extraordinaire, Master Teacher, and a Pastor's Pastor. His anointing, charming personality and influence has won many souls to Christ, and his works do follow him. Even in his ultimate message to the saints, he stood like Moses a giant among giants, a colossus, even in the midst of mighty men. The request of his spirit parallels that of other great men; and he said, "Lord, I beseech thee, show me thy Glory." Apostle entered into eternal rest on Sunday, at his home in South Orange, New Jersey at 7:30 PM. He left to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Mrs. Ruby F. Simmons; 12 children, too many nieces and nephews to count, aunts, uncles, cousins and a devoted church family, numerous spiritual sons and daughters, several godchildren and many wonderful friends. God saw the road was getting rough The hills were hard to climb So, he gently closed your weary eyes And whispered peace be thine. O DEATH, WHERE IS THY STING? O GRAVE, WHERE IS THY VICTORY? Likewise, his successor, our current presiding prelate Apostle Eddie Mason was consecrated into the Apostleship with Apostle Ron Hightower, Apostle John Francis, and Apostle Debarge Mason. The office of a Apostle, that's a good thing. (Malachi 3:8, 1 Corinthians 9:5-15) We believe we should live according to the teachings of the Word of God as recorded in the Bible. We believe that we should conduct ourselves as becoming Holy people of God and refrain from participating in anything that would dishonor God or bring a reproach upon the Church of God and that we should dress ourselves in modest appeal according to the Word of God. (1 Timothy 2:9) We, moreover, under the unction and anointing of the Holy Ghost, do henceforth engage in the Sacraments and Ordinances enacted by Christ and practice are 1) Baptism (Matthew 28:19-20) and 2) Communion (1 Corinthians 11:23-24).
