Born of vision and faith for serving Christ and His Church in West Africa and North America and founded in 1982, BASILEIA MISSIONS is a New York State not-for-profit and tax-exempt corporation of the evangelical Christian tradition, specializing in meeting the spiritual, physical, emotional, social, economic, intellectual and other critical needs of people.The Mission derives its name from the Greek word "Basileia" in reference to CREATOR GOD's supremacy. The LORD reassures every person: "I know the plans I have for you...plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). BASILEIA MISSIONS, serving through a growing network of life-transforming ministries, seeks to enable people to realize GOD's plans for their own lives. Already, the Mission has been recognized by numerous distinguished leaders including a United States Vice President, a United States Senator, a New York State Governor, and the President of an African nation. The Rev. J. Railey Gompah, President of the Mission, has been honored for "Distinguished Services to Africa." TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
