Come Onboard The Ark Of Prayer
We are called as Servants to those who are needy and in darkness. Our Ministry brings them the light of the Gospel and ministers holistically to their physical as well as spirtual needs. To this end Daystar Dawning, Inc. an Indiana Not-For-Profit corporation was organized in 1982 to provide for the spiritual and physical needs of people. We are shining the light and love of Jesus into a sin darkened world of people who have many needs. Jesus came not to be served but to serve. When we serve and meet the needs of others we serve the Lord. The sciptures declare: "For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you brought me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visted Me with help and ministering care; I was in prison and you came to see me. Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord when did we see you hungry and give you food, or thirsty and give you something to drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You? And when did we see you sick or in prison and come to visit You? And the King will reply to them, Truly, I tell you, in as far as you did it to one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these my brethren you did it unto Me," Matthew 25:35-40 Amplified Bible
Our Vision is to have a "Daystar Dawning Ministry Dream Center Building" where we can minister holistically to address the total needs of homeless, downtroden, less fortunate, elderly, and needy people.We desire to operate this facility seven days a week with teaching, counseling and ministry Monday through Saturday and hold Church Services on Sunday. Ministry of Helps
After 911 the face of America has not been the same, but the faith of America remains strong. Jesus said you would always have the poor with us. Many people are supporting foreign missions and this has always been a traditonal outreach of churches and mission societies. However, we have always had a tremendous amount of needy people right here in America. We do not have to look very far to see someone we might help. Our neighbors need our help now more than ever before in these difficult and perplexing times. While many ministries are endeavoring to meet the physical needs of people,we are wanting to reach the spiritual root of the problem. Problems oftimes begin in the spirit of the man, affect his mind which needs to be renewed and conformed to the truth of God's Word and the light of the Gospel, and then proceeds outwardly to affect his physical body and his circumstances and material condition. We desire to minister to the whole man. We are standing in the gap and reaching out to fallen man pointing him to Calvary and the changing power of the Cross. This Good News of the Gospel is reaching everywhere whose power is changing lives. When we can reach them with the life changing truth of the Gospel and its power ,we can resuce the perishing and restore those whose lives are destroyed for lack of spiritual knowledge. Won't you consider helping us to help your neighbors--- Americans who need to be reached for the Lord. Together with God's help we can transform lives inwardly, outwardly and most importantly upwardly towards an eternal heavenly home. Your prayers,concern and of course, your generous gifts to support this evangelistic outreach to our people is vital. Together we can have good success and the Lord will prosper our work. We are asking you to not only to be patriotic and support America but to help build God's kingdom in the process.
Because of the nature of this ministry we are calling upon those of you who are willing and blessed of the Lord to help us with a gift to this ministry to help defray the purchase costs and indirect expenses incurred in the distribution of bibles, religious literature, books, bible study tools, clothing, food items and household goods to those who would otherwise not be able to obtain these resources. Your prayers and generous gifts are vital in the communication of the Good News as well as providing for needy, downtrodden and eldery people in this evangelism outreach. It takes the help of many concerned Christians such as yourselves to provide the means necessary to maintain the work on an ongoing basis.
