Dear Brothers & Sisters In Christ:
After having spent nearly 12 years of my life behind bars, I came to the knowledge that I could not continue to live life my way any longer. I gave my life to Christ and am doing my best daily to live the life that God wants me to live. I attend Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Knoxville, Tennessee and was recently made the Prison Ministry Coordinator for Prison Rock Ministries which is an affiliate ministry of this local community church.
Being filled with the Holy Spirit and walking in that life has made such an impact in my life that I cannot turn back. I merely seek to serve the Lord. I am currently corresponding with over 40 prisoners myself and find that this is both rewarding and challenging. I love the Lord and I would hate to think that one precious drop of Christ's blood was wasted at calvary due to pure denial of his sacrafice for my life and the lives of every prisoner behind bars. No matter what has happened in my life and what may come, I can only say, "Yet will I serve you Lord. Take my life in this day and use me to the maximum potential for your glory". AMEN???
How You Can Help:
You too, can be blessed by the work that the Lord is doing. Volunteer. Write to an inmate today. Share your love in the body of Christ with them. Share the Word and share your life so they might just be able to glimpse the future that awaits them if they will only trust and obey. Tell them that they are cared for. Today is the day of salvation. Share with them the importance of Christ's sacrafice at Calvary for their very soul.
It is not enough to know about God. Share the ways that they can know Him; intimately and personally. Our God is a personal and loving God who is so caring of us that He can tell the very number of hairs on our head. To know Him is to love Him.
