Origin and Purpose
The I.E.A. is an assembly of spirit-filled, full-gospel pastors, evangelists, missionaries and laity united for one purpose, to lift up the name of Jesus Christ. We originated from the Interdenominational Youth Evangelistic Convention, founded in 1985 by Presiding Elder Trenton D. Lambright, in Charleston Heights, South Carolina. The formal organization of our association was in January 1988. We have members(congregations and individual)in several states. Please feel free to contact us for further information.
Statement of Belief
We, the Body of Christ, that make up the I.E.A. believes the Bible is the inspired word of God and that Jesus Christ is our Saviour and Lord. We believe that the gospel is the spoken plan of salvation and that holy living, through the power of the Holy Ghost, is necessary to gain eternal life with Jesus Christ. We believe in prayer as a power for the unfolding, empowering and guidance of life; and as a ministry of intercession. We also believe in the imminent return of the savior, for his saints and that all Christians have a part in the evangelization of the world.
