ABOUT US...
MINISTRY OF RECONCILIAITON EVANGELISM International, Inc. is an evangelistic, interdenominational organization geared to be of help, blessing and encouragement to the whole Body of Christ. For about 12 years now, we are serving the Lord through different Ministry involvements:
LOVE IN ACTION - "LIA" is our outreach to the truly needy, allowing us to do MORE than just say "JESUS LOVE YOU". We are showing them by giving Love in Action. Projects have included an outreach to families devastated by natural calamities and the immunization of babies plagued by a measles epidemic. LIA also includes Child Sponsorship Program where those interested an help a needy child by providing them with medical and educational support.
GOSPEL POP MUSIC CENTER - Everyday, children and adults receive training through the center in effectively communicating the Gospel through Singing, Acting, Dancing & Instrument playing. This is also our tool in diverting youths' attention from drugs into Gospel Music.
M.O.R.E. PRODUCTIONS - Composed of Christian Artists from different local churches and denominations working together as a Music Evangelistic Team. We train Christian individuals who desire to be a part of this great Work too. Conducts evangelistic concerts and and anti-drug campaign crusades through attention-arresting, heart-searching songs, dances and sketches. We also welcome invitations on Church Worship Services, fellowships, conferences, camps & even school events where we package musical presentations & inspirational thoughts with Evangelist JOJO GONZALES with the message of Reconciliation.
OUR CHALLENGE...
Our founding director Steve Overtreet, a former broadcaster of FEBC-USA & Philippines, died in 1995 followed by his wife Suzzane last June 1999. The kids are now in USA. Several workers are already gone to other places and ministries. Most of the sponsors and prayer partners have stopped their monthly support. Many asked, "Buhay pa ba yan?". They certainly thought that M.O.R.E. died with the founders. But this is the work of God. Steve was just an instrument. "He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it." The Lord is not yet done with M.O.R.E. We have been moving office form Philam Home to Cubao, to Makati, to Commonwealth... We shared a small space and then moved out because we could no longer afford the rental until the Lord led us to Parañaque City with a much lower price. But still, we have other concerns like renovation of the place for a much suitable room for training, fixing & upgrading our old equipments, electric & telephone bills, office supplies, Artists food expenses on rehearsals and Full-time Staff allowances. We are also in great need of a vehicle to transport Artists and equipments especially on out-of-town outreaches. Sometimes it is really discouraging to think that we are doing the Work of the Lord but financially constrain. But as the song Steve wrote says, "DON'T EVER GIVE UP... FOR THE LOVE THAT YOU SHARE IN JESUS' NAME WILL NEVER EVER BE IN VAIN" and so here we are, M.O.R.E. STILL ALIVE!!! We are now determined to never gratify the devil by being discouraged.
