THE ORIGIN OF NEW ZION MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL

PASTOR HILTON AND RHODA TOOHEY HAD A PERSONAL ENCOUNTER WITH THE LORD JESUS IN 1975 AT A MEETING HELD BY MICHAEL CASSIDY OF AFRICA ENTERPRISE. NINE YEARS LATER THEY RESPONDED TO GOD'S CHALLENGE TO START NEW ZION MINISTRIES. THEIR DESIRE WAS TO ESTABLISH A NETWORK OF PASTORS ALL OVER THE NATIONS OF AFRICA FOR THE PURPOSE OF MISSIONS AND CHURCH PLANTING. THEY BELIEVE THAT AFRICA IS AND WILL PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN TAKING THE GOSPEL TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. THE NATIONS THAT HAD A GREAT INFLUX OF MISSIONARIES ARE NOW PREPARING TO BECOME THE GREATEST SENDING NATIONS. THESE END TIME APOSTOLIC AND MISSIONARY EVENTS WILL HERALD A TRUE AFRICAN RENEISSANCE.
