Revival Update - January 16- 21, 2000
Dr. Owens is gifted in the Spirit and flows in all 9 gifts of the Spirit freely. Many miracles are documented as a result of her dynamic preaching/teaching ministry. Thousands of souls have been saved nationally and across the years through this dynamic woman of God. Dr. Owens just returned from Youngstown, Ohio January 21, 2000 where she ministered nightly at the Assembly of Truth Crusade Church. Every night was an AWESOME experience with the Holy Ghost. Young persons were saved and nearly all that were saved united with Pastor Stephanie Jenkins and this church. Visiting pastors and ministers from numerous denominations came and participated with this unifying ministry. Dr. Owens met with the members of the church in 8 inches of still falling snow and had a rap session which produced positive results for all present. The Presence of the Lord was surely in the place. Saints looked on with deep respect as Dr. Owens moved under the anointing of the Holy Ghost and ministered in the gifts so effortless. Words of Wisdom and knowledge were given and the laying on of hands ministry was accomplished. Pastor Jenkins was also installed as pastor after two years of serving Assembly of Truth. Praise God for all victories. Particularly a blessing was to see a young 13 year old boy turn from rebellion, a tendency to gangbanging, and utter disrespect for authority to Jesus. His testimony is one that goes down in the section termed "miracles" as Dr. Owens spent time with him on the altar loving him through the Holy Ghost until all the "hell" was loved out of him. He confessed Jesus as Lord and Saviour and refused to miss one night of the revival.
