The goal of Citywide Wholeness Conference Inc. is to provide continuous instruction of biblical principles and related educational resources that produce a "changed" life for successful living, and to encourage fellowship among the Body of Christ through seminars, workshops, panel discussions, support groups and other activities in which the Lord leads us.

Biblical Counseling
Triumph, the biblical counseling ministry of Citywide Wholeness Conference, Inc., provides Christian counselors for believers, seekers and non-believers burdened by life's challenges. Counselors can address problems such as stress, anxiety, fear, worry, broken marriages, parent-child relationships, depression, alcohol and drug abuse and any other issues resulting in emotional, physical or spiritual difficulties. No specific theological tenets are emphasized. Instead, counselors employ the full range of biblical truth to meet counselee's needs.
Biblical counselors will concentrate on three basic principles from God's word.
Hope:
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. Therefore, since we have a great High Priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess; For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses; but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet [He] was without sin. (I Corinthians 10:13; Hebrews 4:14-15 NIV)
Change:
You are taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of minds, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore, each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body; and we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, be strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving unto the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. (Ephesians 4:22-25; Colossians 1:10-12 NIV)
Practice:
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror; But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it, he will be blessed in what he does. (James 1: 22,25 NIV)
