God Bless You! The provision of Sanctification
We are a missionary sending organization with missionaries currently in many countries all over the world. Some of these are: Taiwan, South Africa, Haiti, Romania, Russia, The Ukraine, as well as many others. Our heritage as a direct result of the Wesleyan revivals of over 200 years ago is very dear to us. The Holiness docrines of sanctification and heart purity are as real today as they were under Wesley's preaching. We believe that the sin nature can be effectively crucified and mortified throught the power of Jesus Christ in the Holy Ghost. It is a powerful testimony to experience the crisis event of having the sin nature rooted out and be enabled to live holy before God. A right concept of sin is important in understanding this work of grace, as sin can be defined as the willful disobedience to the known will of God. This is born out in scripture for how can a man confess his sins according to First John, if sin is defined as all points that either in ignorance or out of imperfection miss the absolute mark of perfection. We believe a man can walk uprightly before God, with a clear conscience and have a greater understanding of what it means to walk holy before God and live free from sin in this present life and age. We at FEA are indebted to the work of this man and his wife who 50 years ago saw the opportunity to build a place here in Hobe Sound, Florida, where people could come and pray and dig deeper into God, for the purpose of preaching the gospel. Upon the foundation of Christ, this man and others started Sea Breeze Camp, that is this year celebrating its 50th anniversary. The legacy of Brother French is the missionary organization that is Florida Evangelical Association. Linked with other Holiness organizations all over the United States, Canada and the world, a clear message of salvation is being preached. Today, missionaries come here for furlough or in transit to other posts and share with the residents of this community of believers their first hand experience of the work of the Kingdom from the far corners of the globe. It is an exciting time to be alive and this a wonderful place to lock arms with our brethren and be united in purpose to pray, support, send, and go in the wonderful name of Jesus to all the world and preach the gospel. FEA has been active in starting bible colleges, planting churches, distributing bibles, doing evangelism, mercy ministries and so many things that God has been gracious enough to allow us here at FEA to partner with Him in. Today, G.R. French, the nephew of H.R. French, is the president of FEA. He is actively leading FEA into the 21st century.
