Exodus Outreach is dedicated to "Lifting up sound doctrine and liberating the enslaved." Exodus Outreach offers assistance in cult evangelism and witness training through cult research. Information and tracts are offered free of charge, through the generous donations of concerned and caring Christians. We believe that God's people need to awaken from their slumber and meet the challenge of an often overlooked mission field - the cults. A "cult" as referred to by Exodus Outreach is "a group of people polarized around someone's interpretation of the Bible and is characterized by major deviations from orthodox Christianity relative to the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith, particularly the fact that God became man in Jesus Christ."....Walter Martin, The Rise of the Cults, p. 12

Recently, it has come to my attention that there is also another ministry that is being sorely neglected or overlooked. The ministry of restoration for those fellow Christians who have fallen prey to modern-day Pharisees whose practices include authoritarian rule, manipulation, fear, shame, and leadership elevation, etc. Surprisingly and sadly, this type of spiritual abuse can be found in some of our mainstream, evangelical Christian churches. So, I have provided a few sites for you that deal with the subject of spiritual abuse for your help, healng, and information.
