Located in the city of Tustin, CA, Laurel House is a Christian temporary shelter for up to six teenagers ranging in age from 13-18. These teens are not in trouble with the law, but are unable to cope with difficult family situations in their homes. During this "cooling off" period, Laurel House provides shelter, supervision, and basic living needs in a Christian family atmosphere. Laurel House arranges counseling with outside agencies for the teens and their families to enable them to find solutions to their problems and eventual reconciliation with one another.
Laurel House is currently accepting applications for "house parents". Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - providing a Christian home-like environment to teens in crisis, which facilitates spiritual, emotional and educational development - supervising activities of residents - organizing routine operation of shelter Salaried, live-in position.
