OUR HISTORY
The Transformation Church of God in Christ was born out of a desire of a group of saints to experience a real relationship with God through anointed preaching and teaching. God has accomplished this through the person of our pastor, Elder R. D. Evans. Elder Evans is a "Man of God" who has been divinely endowed and empowered to walk in the Five Fold Ministry, being an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. It has been through his anointed teaching that God has taken a group of twenty-five saints from holding service in a borrowed funeral home to our current edifice with a membership of over 200. It is also through this charasmatic preacher and administrator that the church has successfully purchased 4.4 acres of land on which to build our new church edifice. The Transformation Church of God in Christ is a ministry dedicated to fulfilling God's purpose in His people by a systematic form of teaching utilizing the auxilaries of Sunday School, Bible Studies, and dynamic "series" teaching. The ministry takes very seriously the admonition given in the book of Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge."
