Basic Beliefs
Lighthouse Christian Church believes that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and that one must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in order to be born again. We believe that salvation is a free gift of God and is for all who choose to receive it. When one becomes saved they have eternal life. The way to become saved is through repentance of sin and believing in Jesus Christ. Once a person believes in Jesus they make a committment to follow Him. The Bible says, "that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life"(John 3:16).
Our Purpose
The primary purpose of this church is to glorify, honor, praise, and worship God and to do His will (Luke 4:8; Romans 15:6; John 5:23; Hebrews 13:15; I John 2:17; Hebrews 13:21). We seek to let Jesus become visible through us. We accomplish this through preaching the gospel, prayer, fellowship, Bible study, small groups, and communion. We believe that God loves everyone and therefore everyone is welcomed to our services.
