We dwell in simplicity on the shores of a lake in the primeval forest, amongst God's wild creatures - our brothers and sisters - to offer to Him our Praise and Adoration. Our Vocation is to be embraced by the Love of God and to share it with others, irrespective of religious affiliation. Our Life is one of Contemplation - in Joy and in Peace. We intercede for the welfare of His Church in His World - and for all those who desire our poor prayers. We are Celtic Christians under the patronage of Saint Columban the Pilgrim Abbot and Missionary (AD 540-615). Our background is one of the united Church of South India.
We are in a spacious cedar-wood Cabin with guestroom accomodation, a Chapel, Library, Dining Room and Gallery, set in wild and peaceful grounds. We have a fourteen-foot dinghy for boating on the Lake. There are lots of opportunities for walks and swimming in the Summer and for Cross-country Ski-ing and Snowshoeing in the Winter.
