Mission Statement
We know that in general all churches are to "go... make disciples, " Matthew 28:9-20, but we felt it to be necessary to state more specifically what we aim to accomplish as a CHURCH. The mission statement reads as follows: "Greater Walters A.M.E Zion Church nurtures towards wholeness so that, through Jesus Christ, they may repair the brokeness in their relationship with God and other aspects of their lives. Empowered by the holy spirit, we minister to people's needs through the worship of God, study of God's word, fellowship reaching out to those within and outside the church and
the strengthening of family units."

First Sunday Worship Service Oct. 7, 2001 10:00 AM
Regular Activities Mid-Week Worship Services meet on Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Every 3rd Sunday at 3:30 PM, Married Couples' Fellowship. Every 3rd Saturday at 10:00 AM, Sister Sharing/Women's Mentor Ministry (open to all women 18 years or older). Every Saturday 12:00-1:00 PM, Greater Walters' Hour of Prayer. Every 3rd Saturday Young Adult Missionary Society (YAMS) 12:00-1:00 PM
