MISSION STATEMENT: "A CHURCH COMMITTED TO SHARING THE LOVE OF CHRIST" The Wendell Church of God is currently meeting at the Head-Start Faciliy on Todd Road. Please contact us for directions. Sunday Evening Services have been temporarily suspended, due to lack of availability of Facilities. THE YEAR 2000 will bring a multitude of changes for our church. We anticipate occupancy of our new facilities in late March or early Aprl. WINTERFEST 2000 - Plans are underway for our Youth to attend Winterfest 2000 in Knoxville, TN in March, 2000. Please contact our Youth Pastor for further information. We recently had 7 new members to joint the church. Our attendance continues to grow... We are now averaging about 90 on Sunday Morning. BUILDING FUND BALANCE is approximately $118,000.00. We need to get those pledges from the "PLANT A SEED - EXPECT A HARVEST" pledge campaign in. DON'T FORGET THOSE FAMILY DIRECTORY AND CHRISTIAN SURVEY SHEETS. Please turn those in to Marie Hinton as soon as possible.
 and for the ceiling and light fixtures to go in. Our carpet is being ordered and tile flooring for the kitchen and bathrooms has been selected. We look forward to occupancy in early April 2000. We have tentatively set a DEDICATION date of May 21,2000. Donations continue to come in from all over and we do appreciate those donations. Donations for our building fund may be sent to the WENDELL CHURCH OF GOD P.O.Box 1628 Wendell, NC 27591. All Donations are appreciated. We are also looking for businesses who may wish to assist in the donation of appliances for the kitchen, such as a refridgerator and stove as well as a sink and cabinets. We need cabinets for the nursery and tables for our classrooms. We will need storage cabinets and file cabinets and a work station for the church secretary, as well as a computer for the church. The pastor's office will need a desk and chair and we need bulletin boards and marker boards. Don't miss out on your blessing and a chance to give to benefit the kingdom. We are looking for fund-raising ideas. If you have any suggestions, please e-mail the Pastor or the Music Director. If you can't make a donation, please remember us in your prayers!
