Our Family</h3>
God really does have a unique sense of humor. In a small neighborhood in NE Tennessee, God has brought together some of the finest folk from places such as
Philadelphia: our Youth Pastor & family The Christeins, Robbin with the long fingernails, all 6 ft. of her and our drummer, Jordan
New Jersey: Dot Morton
Northern Michigan: Paula Cox
and then my secretary and her husband who are from good old Bristol TN.
We are Pentecostal and have a unique style of worship utilizing diverse styles of music, praise and worship, hymns, kids songs, etc. We try not to get hung up on any one style of worship but rather allow the Holy Spirit to do the ministering.

The Pastor: Steve Gobble</h3>
Steve is a graduate of Global University and National Business College in Roanoke VA. He has a huge resume. Steve is an exMarine and served 2 tours in VietNam. As you can tell, he is no "spring chicken". He has 5 kids, three of which are members of Solidrock and one is an ordained minister.
Steve is very devoted to his congregation making himself available 24/7 even though he still holds a secular job. His wife, Elanda is truly the "First Lady" of the church. She has an excellent Spirit with a very strong ministry of "Helps". Elanda is a nurse at the VA Hospital in Johnson City.
