Our Church +
St. Basil's is a community of traditional Roman Catholics dedicated to the preservation of the traditional Latin Mass. The members of the church do not attend the traditional Latin Mass out of a sense of nostalgia or love of Latin. Nor do they do so for aesthetic considerations, stubbornness, or out of disobedience. They do so because of the content and purpose of the Catholic Mass; and because it is the Catholic thing to do. We believe that the new mass and sacraments compromise the true Catholic Religion and do not convey and profess the Catholic Faith as defined by Jesus Christ, the Son of God and savior of the world and given to His Apostles to be passed down to us.
The Latin Mass is celebrated exclusively at St. Basil's and the Sacred Dogmas, Doctrines and Traditions of Holy Mother Church are maintained as they were before Vatican Council II.
Our people need prove nothing to anyone. Our pastor possesses DeCosta and Thuc Lines and has been declared a valid bishop by authorities in Rome. We will no longer waste our time and effort defending the consecration of our pastor. If you have any doubts, please, stay away from our church and do not involve yourselves in our ministry. Traditional Roman Catholics should be working and praying to end the divisions within the church seeking the unity as our Lord willed it to be.
If you want to become a priest, please call his excellency at the above number. He is always seeking men who have a vocation to the priesthood and clerics who would like to incardinate with him and his community.
Any help you would care to offer to our church or to the Society to assist us in our apostolate to traditional Roman Catholics would be greatly appreciated and can be sent to the address at the top of this page. Additionally, a legacy in your Last Will and Testament could extend your help far into the future. The legal name is "The Society of the Virgin Mary, Inc." May God bless you for your generousity.
