About our pastor:</h3>
Elder Ray Whorton was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1976 to the union of Raymond Whorton, Sr. and Edna J. Whorton. He was brought up in the Highland Park and Detroit Public School systems and graduated from Cass Tech High in 1994. He rededicated his life to the Lord in 2004 under his mentor Elder Rickey Smith and was filled with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues in 2005. He received his Associates diploma at Destiny Center for Biblical Studies in 2007 and the same year was ordained a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord sent out Elder Whorton in January 2008 to begin Greater Works International COGIC in Lansing, MI with his wife, 4 kids, and his church mother Eusett Miller as support. <br><br><hr><h3>
About Greater Works International</h3>
We exist to change a generation, and for that generation to change the world through Christ. We endeavor to show Jesus can heal this generation from the stains of sin and the sufferings that sin has brought upon this generation. Equipped with a strong prophetic anointing, Greater Works will stand out as a force in the community for social justice, phyiscal healing, and spiritual ongoing revival. <br><br><hr><center><br>
