Greetings in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ!
Trinity Lutheran Church is a congregation of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS), serving the area of White Lake, South Dakota. We are a dual-parish with Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Plankinton, South Dakota. The LCMS is a 2.6 million member church body which espouses historic, confessional Lutheran Christianity as it is expressed in the Book of Concord of 1580 which we hold to be in complete agreement with the Scriptures. We hold the canonical Scriptures to be the inspired, inerrant and efficacious Word of God and the only norm for teaching and practice. As a confessionally Scriptural Church, we find our life centered in Jesus Christ, the crucified and risen Lord. We hold to the historic Trinitarian faith of the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds. The life of the Church therefore flows from those mysteries and means of the Spirit that the Lord has given to preserve and grow His Church, namely, the Word and the holy sacraments. The life of the Church therefore flows from the means of grace as they are primarily administered in the regular Sunday Divine Service. As we partake of the Lord's means of grace we are moved in our daily callings to proclaim the deeds of our God who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Trinity Lutheran Church is here to serve in faith toward God and in works of love toward our neighbors. The Lord be with you.
Trinity Lutheran Church can be reached from Interstate 90 by taking the White Lake exit and turning East onto Highway 16 until one comes to the Aurora-Brule nursing home. Turn left and one can't miss our brick structure which is immediately behind the nursing home.
If you need further help, please feel free to contact the Church or ask anyone in town. White Lake is a small, friendly community that will be glad to help you.
