GREETINGS! It does not seem that we are almost through the month of April and ready to enter May! In the midst of that we face daily, we yet give God Praise and Thanksgiving for our blessings, yes even our tears and setbacks. All assist us in facing each new day and the drama that comes with it. Strive each day to make it better than the day before.

MUSIC SCHOOL
The Summer Recital has been scheduled for June 20th here at the Outreach Center. Our students will give a presentation for their parens, friends and others. You are welcome to attend. Following the Recital, the school will close for the summer. The Music School continues giving music lesson to anyone (child, youth or adult) interested in learning to play an instrument. The School meets after school and on Saturday under the direction of James "Pappy" Martin. Instruction is offered in Piano, Organ, Drum, wind instruments, and Guitar. Recently, a donation of Band Uniforms was given to the school, we look forward to seeing them during the Summer parades. Thanks Mr Martin for a job well done!
Soup Kitchen
We continue serving a meal Monday thru Friday to any hungry person. This ministry has been in operation since Nov. 19, 1990. Our Thanksgiving Dinner was held on Thanksgiving Day, with over 150 diners and volunteers present and enjoying the meal, with all the trimmings. On Christmas Day, we again gathered to feed the hungry and needy. Close to 200 diners and volunteers showed up. A great time was had by all. A gift bag was given to each diner as they left. Your continued assistance is needed with food, gifts, personal care items, and winter clothing (gloves, scarves, boots, and coats, thank you for what you will do. gifts.
OUTREACH CENTER PROJECT
We are behind on our mortgage and may be facing foreclosure. We need FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE! If you know someone, able to bless us financially, please share with them our needs. $400.000.00 would certainly make a "dent" in our situation. Please call Pastor Stewart if you have suggestions or contacts (716-510-5783). As a way of continuing to reach out to those in need, showers are available during Soup Kitchen hours (11:00 am to 1:00 pm). We also have a new Outreach Counselor, Bro. Frank Williams, who seeks to provide a varity of services to those homeless or in need. If you are a Human Service Agency and have a service to share, please call him @ 716-856-4943. Share your information with him in order for us to partner with like-minded individuals. Consider making a donation to this project or stop by for a tour or additional information. The Child Development Center is steady with children. There is still space available for daycare and our after school program. Head Start is full and has a waiting list. Stop by anytime. Although we are using the new building, we still have one unfinished floor. We are looking for Grants/Funding to complete the top floor in this building, which will include Office Space as well as Meeting Rooms. Our goal is to provide Senior Day Care, as well as additional After School Tutoring programs. We are short $200,000.00 to build out this floor into useable space.and need your assistance. Please call for additional information.
SEE IT THROUGH
No matter what you go through, never become so discouraged that you give up. Stay focused and SEE IT THROUGH and, lift as you climb. You are the master of your faith and the captain of your soul.
