Prayers that can guide of this day and always
Dear Lord and heavenly Father, as we reach out to one another in
Christ's love may we remember that Grace happens when we strive
for justice and peace among all people and respect the dignity
of every human being.
As in Psalm 84: verse 11, we find these words: "for the Lord is
a sun and a shield; He bestows grace and honour. No good thing
does the Lord withhold from those who walk uprightly" thus grace
happens and is always a word that should encourage us in our
endeavours and efforts for those who are in need the poor in
body and in spirit, the lost the lonely and all those without
sustenance. May we as God's people be encouraged and continued
to be blessed in all that we do and may the grace of God be
with us and sustain us always.
Amen
A Prayer for the beginning of the day
Dear Lord and Father of us all, we lift our hearts to you
at the beginning of this day. Guide us by your Holy Spirit that
we may truly worship you in sincerity, truth and love. We pause
at this time in the name of Jesus Christ, joining with all our
brothers and sisters throughout the whole world to praise
your most Holy Name.
Amen
A Prayer for the end of the day
O Lord, support us all the daylong of this troublesome life,
until the shadows lengthen and evening comes, and the busy
world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work
is done. Then, in your mercy, grant us a safe lodging and a
holy rest and peace at last.
May the Lord grant a peaceful night and a perfect end to
us and all our absent brother and
sisters and the BLESSING of God Almighty, Father, Son and
Holy spirit be with you and all those you love, now and forever.
Amen
We pray as a Church Community for
The Anglican Communion and its leaders - for the Church
Worldwide and especially at this time for the Church in
Iraq and our Christian sisters and brothers living there
and in the Holy Land. For the Darfur region and its people ...
and all who serve in Christ's image and love.
We pray for the Diocese in Europe and its
outreach and widening ministry.
We pray for the Sick and the suffering and all who
are in need of prayer at this time.
Here you may add your own prayers..............
Offered in His love
