As pastor of First Lutheran Church I invite you to worship with us anytime you might be in Benton. You'll find that our church is open to newcomers. First Lutheran is a place where you can be comfortable since we are not a stuffy church where the clothing you wear Sunday morning is more important than the faith in your heart.
Moreover, we have important news to share with you. We are committed to the good news of forgiveness in Jesus Christ. By His grace, not our own efforts, Jesus offers us an everlasting relationship with God.
Yet, we are not to take advantage of that grace rather by it we are moved to deeper levels of commitment to God. You'll find that commitment at First. We hold to the traditional teachings of the Christian church as confessed in the universal and Lutheran creeds. We are careful not to be swayed by society but to be true to the Bible.
